JOYFUL HEARTS
We are excited to share that the name for all of our Senior Adult Ministries and Activities is "Joyful Hearts."
In the beginning, the "Joyful Hearts" got started with a few simple guidelines. To be a member of "Joyful Hearts," you have to be at least 50 years of age, retired, grandparents, or just anyone else who wants to attend.
Our T.B.A. Day Meetings take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Sometimes we stay at the church for a covered dish lunch, sometimes we go to a restaurant for lunch, and sometimes we take a "Day Trip" to an interesting location. We always have a great time of food, fun and fellowship! Don't miss out on all the fun!
Our Night Meetings take place on the 4th Monday of every other month (see exceptions below) at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. After our covered dish meal, devotion, prayer time and business session, we always have a meaningful program of music and testimony or a special speaker. Join us for a special evening of praise!
Note these exceptions:
In February, the Night Meeting takes place on the 2nd Monday night to allow us to have our Valentines Banquet on a date close to Valentines Day.
In November, everyone is invited to the Senior Adult Thanksgiving Service and Luncheon which is held on the Thursday before Thanksgiving at 11:00 a.m. in our Family Life Center.
In December, the Night Meeting is moved to the first or second Monday in the month for our Christmas Party.
