Senior Adult Activities

"JOYFUL HEARTS"
The name for all of our Senior Adult Ministries and Activities is "Joyful Hearts."

UPCOMING EVENTS:

"JOYFUL HEARTS" CHOIR
The Joyful Hearts Choir meets on Mondays at 10:30 A.M. in the Choir Room.  (Choir has dismissed for the Holidays and Members will receive a card in the Mail when it is time to resume in January 2015.)  We have been rehearsing songs to sing for our Christmas Musical, What A Glorious Day, combined with the Celebration Choir and Orchestra, the Youth Choir and the Older Children's Choir.   Join us on December 7th, at 6:00 P.M.  See paragraph below for more information

PRAYER BREAKFAST
Prayer Breakfast has been dismissed for the Holidays, and Participants will receive a card in the mail man when it is time to resume in January on Thursdays at 6:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall.

"JOYFUL HEARTS" CHRISTMAS PARTY!
"Joyful Hearts" will meet on Monday, December 1st, at 6:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall for our Christmas Party!  We will begin with our Covered Dish Meal and then have our Program.  The Program will be "Sensational Sounds of the Season" presented by Tommy and Betty Ansley.  Make sure to wear your Christmas Colors.  If you are not already in the Christmas Spirit, this Party will set the mood for you and get you ready to Celebrate that "Jesus is the Reason for the Season!"  As always, join us on December 1st for Fantastic Food, Fun and Fellowship.

CHRISTMAS MUSIC FAMILY CELEBRATION
We are joining choirs of all ages together for a Christmas Music Family Celebration on Sunday night, December 7th, at 6:00 P.M.  The Service is called, "What a Glorious Night,and it will be presented by the Celebration Choir and Orchestra, the Joyful Hearts Choir, the Youth Choir, and the Children's Choir.  The Congregational Choir will be asked to participate and join us in singing and celebrating the birth of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.  The 5 Year Old Choir will also sing at the beginning of the Service.  Songs of celebration, promise, joy and hope, all combine in this epic new Christmas musical to deliver songs of high praise blended with intimate moments of worship and reflection.  The musical is a Christmas Festival of Praise for Blended Worship, designed to lead us in a time of rejoicing and celebration.  It explores the miraculous setting surrounding that first Christmas long, long ago when, on a wonderfilled, starlit night, angels ushered in the arrival of our promised Redeemer, Savior and King.  Invite your family and friends to join us for this wonderful celebration.  Pray for God's message of love and hope to really minister to us all.


REVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS:
Weekly:
On Monday Mornings, The Joyful Hearts Choir meets  at 10:30 A.M. in the Choir Room.  (Choir has dismissed for the Holidays and Members will receive a card in the Mail when it is time to resume in January 2015.)
On Sunday Mornings, we have Senior Adult Sunday School Classes and Worship Services at three different time slots, 8:00, 9:15 & 10:45 A.M.
On Sunday Evenings, we participate in Worship at 6:00 P.M.
On Wednesday Evenings, we participate in Churchwide Prayer Meeting at 6:00 P.M. and Bible Study at 6:30 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall.
On Thursday mornings, we have a Weekly Prayer Breakfast at 6:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall.

Events:
